Details: As you enter Copper Resort, follow signs for Center Village, and turn left at the second stop sign (this will be Ten Mile Circle road). As you approach the circle at the end of this street, on your left will be a 15-minute parking area labeled “skier drop-off” where you can temporarily park while you pick up your key card. Park here, then walk across the street and towards copper where there will be the Village Square building plaza on the right. Go up the few steps and look for the Village Square West Building sliding doors. There will be cabinets on your left. The upper cabinet contains the lockbox with your keycard that you can use to access the building, the parking garage, and all three doors (#733, #735, #737) of the condo. 1. There is a cabinet in the lobby, and the lockbox is the round blue circular electronic lockbox with bright green tape and 735 written on it. If some of the keys you are using no longer work on the doors, there's a good change that they have become de-magnetized. This isn't uncommon, and there's an easy fix! There are numerous locations around Copper Mountain, where there are what's called "hotspots". This is where you can take the key that's not working, and hold it up against the device, and it "recharges" your key. For example, in East Village, across the street from the Copper Springs Lodge, over by the East Village Lodge ticket window, there is a "recharging" hotspot for keys. By holding the key that's not working up against the sensor for a few seconds until the light changes color, will "recharge" the keycard! Here are pictures of where it's located: There are other locations in Copper where you can also recharge your keys. Here's what they look like, along with a map of the other complexes that have these sensors. (They are all right in the front lobby of the unit, and look like what's pictured below). Just hold your non-working key up to the sensor for around 20 seconds, and that should recharge your keys!
PARKING: There is additional parking is available in the Alpine lot. This lot is managed by Copper Mountain. Summer/Offseason: After the resort closes for offseason and summer, parking in copper lots is currently free. (daytime and overnight). Winter: Overnight parking is $20 per night (rates may change, subject to Copper Mountain), daytime parking only is free. There is a indoor hot tub and sauna on the main level as well. It’s on the east end down in about the middle of the ski lockers. Bring towels with you from the condo as towels are not provided by the building, and remember to bring them back with you!
Your home will be ready with fresh bed linens and bath towels for every guest — both are included with your stay (covered by the one-time cleaning fee), so there's no need to bring your own. A starter supply of essentials is also provided: In the kitchen: • 1 roll of paper towels • 1 box of dishwasher detergent • 1 bottle of liquid dish soap (3 oz) • 1 kitchen wipe • Coffee and filters, stocked as a courtesy In each bathroom: • 2 rolls of toilet tissue • 1 box of facial tissue • 2 bars of soap • 1 shampoo and 1 lotion • 2 trash bags per trash basket These are starter supplies rather than an unlimited stock — for longer stays, plan to pick up extras of anything you'll use a lot. A few things to know: • Heading to the hot tub or pool? We suggest bringing your own beach towels — bath towels are for indoor use. • Daily cleaning service isn't included in the rental rate, but it's available at an additional rate — just send us a message. • Please don't remove towels or linens from the home.
Laundry, Vending, Ice is located at the east end of the 1st floor of the Village Square WEST building. There is a Pay Station that takes major credit cards, Apple Pay, etc.
Your dedicated ski locker is located on the first floor down the hallway by the elevator. It is labeled #735 and has a combination lock. The combo lock code is Right 32, Left 10, Right 20 (turn right past 0 twice then stop on 32, turn left past 0 once then stop on 10, then turn right and stop as soon as you get to 20, pull down). Do not remove the combo lock, they are managed by the building. Please remove all items from the locker upon departure.
Opposite the kitchen table you will find the very handy boot dryer: Operation is simple. Put your boots (or gloves!) on the pegs and use one of the buttons at the bottom of the unit to turn it on for the desired length of time. Your boots will soon be warm and dry! Enjoy warm, dry boots after your lunch break!
The building features radiant heat serviced by a central boiler and there is a zone in each room controlled by a thermostat. This provides a nice even heat but can take time for adjustments to the thermostat to change the temperature in the room up or down. In the winter, we recommend leaving the thermostats set to at least 72 degrees. The gas fireplace provides a quick additional source of heat, as well as the plug-in heaters provided in each bedroom. To turn on the gas fireplace, simply twist the timer to the right of the fireplace. The fireplace fan will automatically turn on after a few minutes of the fireplace being on to bring heat into the room, and will turn off once it detects all warmth has dissipated. Each bedroom has an additional plug-in heater located in the closet. These have either a high or a low setting and provide lots of heat despite their compact size. VERY IMPORTANT: Only plug in these heaters directly into an outlet on the wall, and not into any power strip or extension cord. They can draw up to 1500W of power and are designed to be plugged directly into an outlet on the wall. There are exposed wall outlets in each bedroom by the window for your convenience.
Bluetooth Speaker in Kitchen A Samsung Music Frame bluetooth speaker is located in the kitchen to play your tunes. To pair, press and hold the bottom button on the side of the unit for 5 seconds until the LED on the bottom of the front starts flashing: Then connect your bluetooth device and enjoy! Please do not move the speaker: it is heavy and cabled to stay in its place in the kitchen. You can also use AirPlay to play your tunes on TVs in the other rooms.
Every Lark Mountain home has a full kitchen, so you can cook as much — or as little — as you like during your stay. In every kitchen you'll find: • A full set of pots and pans • Microwave • Dishes, glassware, and utensils for everyday cooking and dining Small appliances in every home: • Drip coffee maker — standard drip style, using flat-basket filters (not cone filters, and not a Keurig or pod machine) • Crockpot (slow cooker) • Toaster • Blender If you're shopping on the way up: grab flat-basket coffee filters and your ground coffee of choice, plus any specialty ingredients — grocery stores in Frisco (Safeway, Whole Foods) are the closest full-size markets. If an appliance isn't listed above (espresso machine, air fryer, Instant Pot, rice cooker, etc.), assume the home doesn't have one. Questions about a specific item? The coffee maker in our unit uses a flat basket paper filter. We try to keep some stocked in the unit for guests, if it looks like we're running low, please let us know at support@larkmountain.com.
TVs and Digital Streaming Each TV allows you stream your favorite shows, watch cable TV, or connect your own device via HDMI: • Roku Ultra: Used to access your own digital streaming accounts (Netflix, Disney+, etc.). • Cable TV: Access the guide and channels using the EvoForce remote control. Cable TV is provided via the fiber Internet connection and does not require or use a physical cable connection. • Your own device (laptop): Each TV has an HDMI input on the media center or dresser underneath the TV to make it easy to plug your own device into the TV. See photos below. Do not unplug HDMI cables from the back of the TV, please use these convenient connections instead. • AirPlay: Each Roku acts as an AirPlay receiver for wireless video streaming. Once your device is connected to the wifi network, you should see AirPlay destinations for each TV. Living Room TV: Samsung Frame Pro 75” The Living Room TV is a 75” Samsung Frame Art TV. Turning off the TV will display art. You can turn off the art by holding the TV power button for a few seconds. If the remote is low on battery you can charge it via USB-C in the kitchen. You may need to use the Samsung remote to select the right input signal after turning it on (HDMI 1 for Roku & AirPlay, HDMI 2 for Cable TV, HDMI 3 for your own device). To plug in your own device, use the HDMI cable attached to the left of the media cabinet. Please do not remove or change any of the cabling. Roku Tips • The Roku is on HDMI input 1 on all TVs. When you power on the Roku with the remote, the TV should automatically switch to HDMI 1. • The Roku remote control can control the TV power/volume as well as the Roku. • Enter your checkout date on first use, and it will automatically log you out of your streaming accounts when you leave so you don’t forget. • You are free to install any apps you want on the Roku as the unit will be reset automatically upon checkout. • If a Roku remote is low on battery, you can charge it via USB-C using the kitchen USB-C charger. Cable TV Tips • Cable TV is on HDMI input 2 on all TVs. When you power on the Cable TV device (EvoForce) with the remote, the TV should automatically switch to HDMI 2. • In the north bedroom, HDMI 2 is shared with an HDMI switch to connect your own HDMI device. Press the button on the HDMI switch to either select the cable TV device or your own HDMI device. All other TVs dedicate HDMI 2 to cable TV and HDMI 3 is for your own device. • In the north bedroom, you may have to use the TV remote input button (top right button) to switch between HDMI 1 (Roku) and HDMI 2 (cable TV or your own device). Tips for Connecting Your Own Device via HDMI Each bedroom TV also has one of its inputs on the back connected to an easily accessible HDMI switch, to make it super easy to plug in your own device (e.g., a laptop). For your convenience, an HDMI cord is already plugged into the switch. The button on the top of the HDMI switch can be used to select the HDMI input on either port 1 or port 2 (a blue LED light will indicate which is currently active). North bedroom (switch between cable TV and our provided HDMI cable): South bedroom (switch between our provided cable or another HDMI port you can plug into):
While we’ve found it’s nice and quiet at night, we know that many find comfort in falling asleep to white noise, nature sounds, or music. We’ve provided a high fidelity sound machine in each bedroom. Simply turn them on, press one of the 3 sound selection buttons one or more times to select the desired sound (white noise, nature, and fans), and optionally press the sleep timer button.
The south bedroom has a Doc & Pie’s cocktail arcade machine with 60 classic arcade games! Use the joystick to select which game you want to play and press the one or two player button to begin. Try to beat high scores from other guests and leave your legacy in the unit! Please do not move the machine. It’s heavy and it’s not designed to be moved by lifting from the top and attempting to do so can damage the unit. Volume control: For the pleasure of every parent, we’ve installed a custom physical volume control knob under the joystick area on the side facing the window. Twist left or right to fully mute the sound or set the volume to your preference. Turning the machine on/off: Use the power switch in the back, right above where the cord plugs in. It takes about two minutes for the machine to boot up (a counter will display on screen).
A selection of family friendly board games are in the living room media cabinet for your enjoyment. Please ensure all pieces are returned and games put back for the next guest to enjoy!
Trash Service Trash must be bagged and disposed of in the trash chute in the room by the elevator. If the trash will not fit down the trash shute, take the elevator to the parking garage level and place it in the dumpster. Additional bags are underneath the kitchen sink. Copper Mountain sorts all trash to recycle what is possible. Additionally, recycling bins can accept additional cardboard and other recyclable items in the dumpster room inside the parking garage.
Heated Toilet Seats + Bidets Each bathroom is equipped with heated toilet seats and a built-in bidet with heated water for your comfort. The bidet will only activate when it detects someone is sitting on the seat. Use the bidet controller across from the toilet seat to operate. Select your desired water pressure and temperature, then press either Posterior or Feminine buttons as appropriate, and press dryer when finished. The auto clean button will run a posterior cycle and then a dryer cycle. Press stop at any time as needed. The bidet will automatically clean itself after each use. The bidet also has a built-in nightlight. You can turn this on/off as you wish using the button on the seat:
The south bedroom has a desk with an ergonomic office chair, 32” 4K monitor (with built-in speakers), keyboard, mouse, and docking station for your convenience. Bring your laptop and enjoy a full work-from-home setup to stay productive, then get back out there on the mountain! How to Use: • We recommend placing your laptop to the right of the monitor. All cables have been organized and tied down for you to connect your laptop at this spot. • Most modern Windows/Mac laptops support USB-C docking station connections. Simply connect the host USB-C cable, and the monitor, keyboard, and mouse should connect. It will provide up to 100W of charging power to keep your laptop running, all from a single cable. • If your laptop does not support video over the USB-C docking station connection, connect the USB-C host cable (or use the attached adapter on the cable to convert it to USB-A) for the keyboard and mouse, and use the provided HDMI connection for the monitor. • The monitor should auto-detect whether a video signal is coming from the docking station (displayport) or HDMI (if you plugged in your laptop directly). There is a button on the bottom of the monitor to manually switch monitor input sources if needed. • Other Notes: • A computer is not provided – you must bring a laptop to connect to the monitor. • You’re welcome to connect other devices into the docking station (provides USB-C, USB-A, 2x HDMI, Ethernet, SD/MicroSD card slots, and audio):
Bedding for Daybed and Pull-out Couches In addition to the king-sized beds in both bedrooms, and the twin-over-full bunk bed, you have: • A twin-sized daybed in the north bedroom. • A queen-sized pull-out (blue) couch in the north bedroom. • A full-sized pull-out (grey) couch in the living room. Bedding for these are all in labeled bins in the closet. If the bedding is used, please leave on top of the couch on departure. For the day-bed and pull-out couch please put on the mattress protector (from the bin in the closet) before putting on the sheet.
2-in-1 Mist-Free Humidifers + Air Purifiers For your comfort, we have provided top-of-the-line Blueair 2-in-1 Purify + Humidifiers in each room. The Colorado mountains can have quite a dry climate depending on the time of year, and we’ve found these units to be both convenient and very effective at keeping the room comfortable and your skin happy. As you wish, you can run these in the 2-in-1 air purification + humidification mode, just in air purification mode (there is no harm when the water tank is empty), or turn them off. These units have special filters that allow regular tap water to be used and they are top fill, making them very easy to operate. In dry winter months, we recommend using the unit in auto mode with humidification. First, refill the water tank if needed (easy top fill – see instructions below). Then turn the unit on, and press the auto button in the bottom right, and make sure humidification is on (water droplet is shown on the display – if not press the water droplet button to enable humidification). When on auto, the fan will run at a higher speed if the room is quite dry and it’s adding water to the air. If you prefer you can manually change the fan speed as well. Refilling the water tank When the water tank is empty this symbol will display: To refill the tank when it’s empty, simply press the power button in the lower left of the control panel to stop the fan from spinning, and then pour normal tap water onto the display (NOT the fan area). The water tank holds up to 3L and for your convenience, we’ve provided a water pitcher in the kitchen that holds 3L. Here is a full tutorial video with all details on the controls and refilling: Night mode – you can press the brightness button to dim the display lights as needed. There is also a dedicated night mode that will keep the fan/humidifier on the lowest setting so that it will run whisper quiet.

There is a drain cover provided in each bathtub if you wish to fill the tub. Simply place it over the drain to fill, and when done remove for the tub to empty: Also note that depending on the time of year the hot water can take a few minutes running to reach full temperature. Please keep this in mind when filling bathtubs for kids, etc.
Night Stands For your convenience, the lamps on each of the nightstands have both a power outlet (on the side of the base of the lamp) and USB charging ports. Additionally, there are power cubes in or under the nightstand with additional outlets and USB charging ports. The north bedroom couch has an outlet and USB charging port built-in to the table at the head of the couch. Kitchen USB Charger If you forgot your USB charging cord, don’t worry, use our kitchen USB Charger with built-in cords! This provides 4 USB-C charging cords, and there is a lightning adapter on the end of each cable as well as needed. There are also 4 electrical outlets on the back to plug in your own chargers. Make sure the device is on and press the power button if needed. Please do not move/remove the chargers. Other USB Chargers & Outlets Power cubes are provided on either side of the living room couch, on the bedroom desk, and nestled in other key places to make it easy to keep your laptop or other devices fully powered!
Two stretching mats (7’ Manduka Pro) and two foam rollers are in the south bedroom closet. Perfect for warming up before hitting the slopes or helping muscles recover after a day on the slopes and a soak in the hot tub or sauna! The mats are closed-cell (resists absorbing moisture) and studio-grade. After use, please wipe with a hand towel as needed, re-roll, and return to the closet.
All windows have black-out roller shades so you can sleep in! Use the handle in the middle to (gently!) move them up and down. For your convenience, hooks are hanging on the wall or on the window sill to grab the handle from farther away. The skylights in the living room have motorized shades. To open or close, use the remote by the window. Press the left or right arrow until the “0” appears on the display. This indicates that you are about to send a command to all 6 skylight shades. Then press the up or down button to open or close the shade. The shades are solar charged and do not have replaceable batteries, they should always be charged and ready to go.
There are many activities to do while at Copper Mountain Resort. Lift tickets are best purchased through Copper at www.coppercolorado.com. They guarantee the lowest price. This is a private condo - so we don't have any additional discounts available for lift tickets or activities. For ski rentals, we like the Christy Sports right in East Village and also a great place to demo skies. It is in the building next to Foxpine. If you are staying in Center Village, there are a couple of shops but we like Breeze Ski Rental. It is easy at all of them to reserve online or on the phone ahead of your trip.
