Getting Here
92 Wheeler Cir, Unit #C212, Frisco, CO 80443
Open in Google MapsDIRECTIONS FROM DENVER Merge onto I-70 West. Once you pass through the Eisenhower tunnel, you are about 20 minutes away from the Copper Mountain/Leadville exit 195/CO-91S. Take your first right by the big Copper sign onto Copper Rd. then take your second left onto Wheeler Place, and immediate left onto Wheeler Cir. Straight ahead you will see a sign for Village Point and a narrow driveway. Stay to the right of the sign & take the driveway straight to our spot C212. GPS may say Frisco, just follow these directions. Here's the Village Map of Copper Mountain, see the red line on how you get to our place from the highway exit! After You take the Exit for Copper, you will approach the entrance to Copper. Take a right on Copper Road. Stay on Copper Road, until you make a left on Wheeler Place. After you're on Wheeler Place, you'll make a pretty quick LEFT onto Wheeler Circle: Then, the Village Point complex will be tucked back in the corner on the right. Our Unit is end-unit, closest to the East Village Lodge. (literally straight ahead when you enter Village Point):

Below is a map of the parking at our home. Our unit has 1 designated spot, and the other spot is first-come-first-serve guest parking. Please ensure that you display the parking pass on your dash or hanging on your mirror during your stay. The passes are hanging on the hooks in the entryway of the unit. Please make sure you return the parking passes, or there will be a $50 replacement fee. Our HOA is extremely strict with parking (due to having such a desirable place to park right by the lift!). Please ensure you are parked appropriately, with pass, otherwise it's highly likely you will be towed.

The overnight fee will be $20 per night per vehicle, ensuring fair access to this prime parking area. We are pleased to continue to offer free parking in the Far East Lot and Alpine lot for skier day parking and appreciate your understanding as we work to enhance everyone’s parking experience at Copper. Your home will be ready with fresh bed linens and bath towels for every guest — both are included with your stay (covered by the one-time cleaning fee), so there's no need to bring your own. A starter supply of essentials is also provided: In the kitchen: • 1 roll of paper towels • 1 box of dishwasher detergent • 1 bottle of liquid dish soap (3 oz) • 1 kitchen wipe • Coffee and filters, stocked as a courtesy In each bathroom: • 2 rolls of toilet tissue • 1 box of facial tissue • 2 bars of soap • 1 shampoo and 1 lotion • 2 trash bags per trash basket These are starter supplies rather than an unlimited stock — for longer stays, plan to pick up extras of anything you'll use a lot. A few things to know: • Heading to the hot tub or pool? We suggest bringing your own beach towels — bath towels are for indoor use. • Daily cleaning service isn't included in the rental rate, but it's available at an additional rate — just send us a message. • Please don't remove towels or linens from the home.
BASEBOARD HEATERS The heat in Village Point C212 is run from separate thermostats in each room. They electric baseboard heaters. Unlike a home with a furnace, there is no forced air. That said, it can take some time for the unit to heat up, yet once it does, it's extremely efficient and effective! To operate the Heat, locate the thermostat in each room, and move the top switch to the desired temp. Here's what the thermostats look like: FIREPLACE The Fireplace is run off of the remote that's mounted to the wall.

The Hot Tub is located right in the middle of the complex. Head out the door, down the long deck pathway until you reach the first set of stairs. Head down to the hot tub. Quiet Hours begin at 10:00pm. Please make sure to cover the hot tub after use. We have a physical key that's on a lanyard hanging in our unit by the front door. Although the door has a key, you can also use your fingers to pull the lever back to open the door.

Every Lark Mountain home has a full kitchen, so you can cook as much — or as little — as you like during your stay. In every kitchen you'll find: • A full set of pots and pans • Microwave • Dishes, glassware, and utensils for everyday cooking and dining Small appliances in every home: • Drip coffee maker — standard drip style, using flat-basket filters (not cone filters, and not a Keurig or pod machine) • Crockpot (slow cooker) • Toaster • Blender If you're shopping on the way up: grab flat-basket coffee filters and your ground coffee of choice, plus any specialty ingredients — grocery stores in Frisco (Safeway, Whole Foods) are the closest full-size markets. If an appliance isn't listed above (espresso machine, air fryer, Instant Pot, rice cooker, etc.), assume the home doesn't have one. Questions about a specific item? Send us a message before your stay and we'll confirm.
The coffee maker in our unit uses a flat basket paper filter. We try to keep some stocked in the unit for guests, if it looks like we're running low, please let us know at support@larkmountain.com.
If the Fridge isn't dispensing any ice, there's an easy fix! Here's a quick video to show how to clear a frozen block of ice from the ice maker. This isn't the exact fridge in our unit, but close, and the same steps apply! This is the most common issue if the ice dispenser on the fridge isn't working. Hope this helps!
The trash/dumpster is located on the north end of the complex. Here's a pic:

The ski locker for our unit, is on the ground level by the parking spots. It's located a few parking spots away toward the hot tub. (the lockers are embedded in dividers between the parking spots). It's labeled 212. Code is 1560 then the Schlage button. Keep locked. Here's a picture of where it's located in the parking lot, from our spot: Here's the locker: There's plenty of storage:

There are many activities to do while at Copper Mountain Resort. Lift tickets are best purchased through Copper at www.coppercolorado.com. They guarantee the lowest price. This is a private condo - so we don't have any additional discounts available for lift tickets or activities. For ski rentals, we like the Christy Sports right in East Village and also a great place to demo skies. It is in the building next to Foxpine. If you are staying in Center Village, there are a couple of shops but we like Breeze Ski Rental. It is easy at all of them to reserve online or on the phone ahead of your trip. Restaurants and Bars: Downhill Dukes, incline Bar & Grille, Ten Mile Tavern (our favorite lunch joint), Double Diamond (our favorite coffee and breakfast place), JJ's Rocky Mountain Tavern (East Village - and has great food), Mountain Melt, El Zacatecano (Mexican), Eagle BBQ, Mulligan's Irish Pub, High Rockies Whiskey and Wine Bar, Sugar Lips Mini Donuts, City Pop Gourmet Popcorn & Candy. Go to www.coppercolorado.com for more information, menus, hours and locations. The Copper Blog is super fun to follow as they post all sorts of information. https://www.coppercolorado.com/culture/blog/all-blogs/faces-of-copper-kelly-phillips We also encourage you to follow #Coppermtn and #Lark_mtn on Instagram and LarkMountain on Facebook Rocky Mountain Coaster: Located near the American Flyer Lift, the alpine coaster will take you cruising through the forest in both the winter and summer months while the resort is open! Tubbing is also a really fun activity to do and it is right in East Village. You do need to make reservations with Copperas it books up fast. Coffee Shops: Camp Hale(three locations), The Belgian Bean, Sky Chutes Coffee House (Center Village) Safe Sledding -Please be aware that sledding on County Roads is dangerous and there are several places STR guests and their children can head to safely sled or tube. Some ideas are here. *Rainbow Park Cost: Free 430 Rainbow Drive, Silverthorne, CO 80498 *Carter Park Cost: Free 300 S. In Copper Resort there is just a small (expensive) McCoy's Mountain Market in Center Village and a convenience store right off the exit - so we always encourage guests to plan ahead if you are going to eat/cook in the property. We haven't had great luck with delivery services for Food. We had one guest get an Instacart order this summer to go through but have had a hard time since. Staffing is really hard in the mountain communities. Restaurants and Bars: Downhill Dukes, Sawmill Pizza & Bar, Ten Mile Tavern (our favorite lunch joint), Downhill Dukes (at the base of the mountain), JJ's Rocky Mountain Tavern (East Village - and has great food), T-Rex Grill, El Zacatecano (Mexican), Eagle BBQ, Mulligan's Irish Pub, High Rockies Whiskey and WIne Bar, Sugar Lips Mini Donuts, City Pop Gourmet Popcorn We were just informed they are opening a new family style Italian Restaurant called Mama's Italiano - where they will serve homemade pasta, pizza and sandwiches. I also encourage you to follow #Coppermtn and #Lark_mtn on instagram and LarkMountain on facebook Coffee Shops: Camp Hale(three locations), The Belgian Bean, Sky Chutes Coffee House, Starbucks (Center Village) If you leave Copper and want some dinner places - in FRISCO we recommend: Butterhorn Cafe (Breakfast/Lunch & Bakery) *Our personal favorite Uptown On Main Ollie's Pub and Grub Pure Kitchen Tavern West Bagalis Vinny's Euro American Restaurant Silverheels Bar and Grill The Lost Cajun Taqueria (at The Clubhouse) In Silverthorne: Bluebird market (like a higher end food court) The Damn Brewery Timberline Craft Kitchen and Cocktails Sauce on the Blue FINE DINING Rootstalk (Breckenridge) Bistro North (Dillon) Kucu Tequila Bistro (Silverthorne) Sauce on the Blue (Silverthorne) DRINKS Outer Range Brewing Company (Frisco) Apres Handcrafted Libations (Breckenridge) Goat Soup & Whiskey Tavern (Keystone) Be informed that in 2019, HOUSE BILL 19-1207 was passed regarding traction control requirements between September - May for any vehicle you drive up through Summit County.
