Getting Here
154 Wheeler Pl, Unit #313 / 315, Frisco, CO 80443
Open in Google MapsSelf Check-in. Here are all the directions you will need to get into our FoxPine Condo. Self Check-In is anytime AFTER 4pm. No early check-ins are permitted. DIRECTIONS FROM DENVER Take I-70 West toward GRAND JCT / CO-470. Once you pass through the Eisenhower tunnel, you are about 20 mins away from the Copper Mountain/Leadville exit 195/CO-91S. Then take your first right by the big Copper sign onto Copper Rd. Here are some pictures to help you navigate to the FoxPine building. This image represents getting to Foxpine from i-70, as you come into Copper: As you drive into Copper from i-70, take a right on Copper Road After driving on Copper Road, you'll get to a stop sign, take a left on Wheeler Place Next, stay on Wheeler place (it veers to the right), so stay right: As you approach the end of Wheeler Pl, you'll see the FoxPine building on your LEFT as pictured here: Just find a spot in front to Park in front, and head up to unit #315. After heading up to the unit, you will register your car for parking by using the QR code that’s on the refrigerator. (You will actually register under Unit #313). After you have registered, if you would like to park in the garage, just grab one of the lanyards with a keycard hanging by the front door. The keycard will get you into the underground garage. We hope that you have a wonderful time!

PARKING You will need to register your vehicle to park. Although most of our instructions state unit 315, 313 is also a part of the same unit. In the parking system, you need to register under 313. To do so, you can either simply set your smartphone to "camera" and point it at the QR code that should be on the refrigerator inside the condo, otherwise just go to the website directly and register: Website: https://foxpineinn.parkingattendant.com/foxpineinn/services Condo: 313 Passcode: 606952 From there, you can register your car for the duration of your stay. Parking is limited to (1) vehicle on Foxpine Property (garage or front lot) and is available on a first come basis. You will use a key card to access the parking garage entrance on the east side of the building (if facing the front, to the right) next to the dumpsters. Our HOA is extremely strict with parking (due to having such a desirable place to park right by the lift!). Please ensure that you have successfully registered your vehicle, otherwise it's highly likely you will be towed. If you need additional parking, you must go to Coppers Resort Page at www.coppercolorado.com/plan-your-trip/getting-here/parking or call Copper at 970.968.2318 or please see the "Overflow" parking recommendation we have added.

The House
Everything you need to know, one tap away.
Enter the auto doors of the front entrance of Foxpine and head to the right where you will find the elevator. Head to the 3rd floor to UNIT 315. We put a keypad on the door of #315 to make is easier access for your entire group. We sent you the codes in your booking app messaging or email. (Also, if the front doors to the building are locked - see the notes in the arrival message in your booking app messaging, we provide a backup for entry, yet normally open at all times) On the hooks inside unit #315, you will find lanyards with keycards. You really should only need one - and that will get you into the parking garage, front doors after hours, and hot tub of Foxpine. Our recommendation is to just take one - hang it on your rearview mirror and that will get you in and out of the garage during your stay. It will also help you remember to put it back on the hook inside the condo upon departure. Here's a pic of the keypad on our front door that will get you access to our home. The code was sent to you in your booking app, or through email. Please check their for the code.

If some of the keys you are using no longer work on the doors, there's a good change that they have become de-magnetized. This isn't uncommon, and there's an easy fix! There are numerous locations around Copper Mountain, where there are what's called "hotspots". This is where you can take the key that's not working, and hold it up against the device, and it "recharges" your key. For example, in East Village, across the street from the Copper Springs Lodge, over by the East Village Lodge ticket window, there is a "recharging" hotspot for keys. By holding the key that's not working up against the sensor for a few seconds until the light changes color, will "recharge" the keycard! Here are pictures of where it's located: There are other locations in Copper where you can also recharge your keys. Here's what they look like, along with a map of the other complexes that have these sensors. (They are all right in the front lobby of the unit, and look like what's pictured below). Just hold your non-working key up to the sensor for around 20 seconds, and that should recharge your keys!

PARKING: There is additional parking is available in the Alpine lot. This lot is managed by Copper Mountain. Summer/Offseason: After the resort closes for offseason and summer, parking in copper lots is currently free. (daytime and overnight). The TV service provider is called Vero Broadband. (970-230-8376). The TV's each have a small black set top box that is connected to each TV. They are plugged into the TV with a single HDMI cable. This is what provides the channels. The TV must be set on the correct "input" or HDMI input. If you are having issues, sometimes it's helpful to unplug, then re-plug back in for 30 seconds to reboot their system. Vero also provides the internet access. If you are having any internet problems with finding the network, password, or connectivity, just call the number above. (We would call them for you, yet they need to speak to someone physically in the unit to troubleshoot) They will also be able to tell you if there are any outages in the area. Hope that helps!

There is a ski lockers in the parking garage, #313 code is 0 7 1 3. #315 is code 0 9 0 3

Sometimes in an electric fireplace, the "pilot" light can go out. The "pilot" light is the small flame you'll normally see that remains constantly burning. If you don't see any small flame at all, it could be that the pilot light needs restarting. There's an easy fix for that! Watch below: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RsvDJW6gdEc Tips- • when you’ve turned the knob to pilot, and you’ve pressed it in to release gas, push the igniter like 20 times until you see it light. • after it’s lit, keep the knob pressed in for 30 seconds to keep gas going. • finally turn that knob from pilot to flame! Fireplace timer is to the right of the fireplace
Every Lark Mountain home has a full kitchen, so you can cook as much — or as little — as you like during your stay. In every kitchen you'll find: • A full set of pots and pans • Microwave • Dishes, glassware, and utensils for everyday cooking and dining Small appliances in every home: • Drip coffee maker — standard drip style, using flat-basket filters (not cone filters, and not a Keurig or pod machine) • Crockpot (slow cooker) • Toaster • Blender If you're shopping on the way up: grab flat-basket coffee filters and your ground coffee of choice, plus any specialty ingredients — grocery stores in Frisco (Safeway, Whole Foods) are the closest full-size markets. If an appliance isn't listed above (espresso machine, air fryer, Instant Pot, rice cooker, etc.), assume the home doesn't have one. Questions about a specific item? Send us a message before your stay and we'll confirm.
The coffee maker in our unit uses a flat basket paper filter. We try to keep some stocked in the unit for guests, if it looks like we're running low, please let us know at support@larkmountain.com.
There is an ice machine located in the basement in the garage. It’s located right next to the bike rack.

Your home will be ready with fresh bed linens and bath towels for every guest — both are included with your stay (covered by the one-time cleaning fee), so there's no need to bring your own. A starter supply of essentials is also provided: In the kitchen: • 1 roll of paper towels • 1 box of dishwasher detergent • 1 bottle of liquid dish soap (3 oz) • 1 kitchen wipe • Coffee and filters, stocked as a courtesy In each bathroom: • 2 rolls of toilet tissue • 1 box of facial tissue • 2 bars of soap • 1 shampoo and 1 lotion • 2 trash bags per trash basket These are starter supplies rather than an unlimited stock — for longer stays, plan to pick up extras of anything you'll use a lot. A few things to know: • Heading to the hot tub or pool? We suggest bringing your own beach towels — bath towels are for indoor use. • Daily cleaning service isn't included in the rental rate, but it's available at an additional rate — just send us a message. • Please don't remove towels or linens from the home.
We are so glad to be able to provide you with an in-unit washer/dryer. To ensure they work properly, please don't overstuff. This is a ventless dryer. With all dryers you need to make sure the lint trap is cleaned out. With the ventless dryer, you also need to make sure the water collection tray is empty. At 35 seconds into this video you can see how to empty the water.
The heat in FoxPine #315 is run from separate thermostats in each room. They run water-based baseboard heaters. The water is supplied/heated by a boiler system that heats the entire building. (There is no individual water heater in each unit). That said, it can take some time for the unit to heat up, yet once it does, it's extremely efficient and effective! To operate the Heat, locate the thermostat in each room, and push the up/down to the desired temp. Here's what the thermostats look like: Due to the extremely mild temperatures in the mountains in the Summer season, you won't find units that include air conditioning. (It's not uncommon for temps to drop below the 50's at night). As a result, if you need to cool down the unit, feel free to crack the windows, and it will cool down rather quickly!

There is an outdoor hot tub on the main level of the building, out the back door, outside sitting right at the base of the mountain. There is also a public grill to use as well: The hot tub has a key reader on it, yet we just grab the handle :-) it’s easy to reach over.

The dumpster is located outside right next to the garage entrance:

There are many activities to do while at Copper Mountain Resort. Lift tickets are best purchased through Copper at www.coppercolorado.com. They guarantee the lowest price. This is a private condo - so we don't have any additional discounts available for lift tickets or activities. For ski rentals, we like the Christy Sports right in East Village and also a great place to demo skies. It is in the building next to Foxpine. If you are staying in Center Village, there are a couple of shops but we like Breeze Ski Rental. It is easy at all of them to reserve online or on the phone ahead of your trip. Restaurants and Bars: Downhill Dukes, incline Bar & Grille, Ten Mile Tavern (our favorite lunch joint), Double Diamond (our favorite coffee and breakfast place), JJ's Rocky Mountain Tavern (East Village - and has great food), Mountain Melt, El Zacatecano (Mexican), Eagle BBQ, Mulligan's Irish Pub, High Rockies Whiskey and Wine Bar, Sugar Lips Mini Donuts, City Pop Gourmet Popcorn & Candy. Go to www.coppercolorado.com for more information, menus, hours and locations. Tubbing is also a really fun activity to do and it is right in East Village. You do need to make reservations with Copperas it books up fast. Coffee Shops: Camp Hale(three locations), The Belgian Bean, Sky Chutes Coffee House (Center Village) Safe Sledding -Please be aware that sledding on County Roads is dangerous and there are several places STR guests and their children can head to safely sled or tube. In Copper Resort there is just a small (expensive) McCoy's Mountain Market in Center Village and a convenience store right off the exit - so we always encourage guests to plan ahead if you are going to eat/cook in the property. We haven't had great luck with delivery services for Food. We had one guest get an Instacart order this summer to go through but have had a hard time since. Staffing is really hard in the mountain communities.
